Welcome

Troops,

It is time for an update.

The staff of FPS are in the process of layout, compiling articles and kicking out the #7 issue of FPS. Busting butt, traveling around, playing games, taking pictures and working on the magazine… We have never been deeper into work on a magazine before.

This month alone we will have attended three major games, visited and sponsored a Law Enforcement Class and will be attending the first ever AMT (Airsoft Marksmanship Trial) Airsoft Event in the United States the final weekend of May. Additionally, we are knocking around the idea of a new look for FPS! Not sure if it will become reality this round, but we are entertaining the thought.

Airsoft is really taking on many new shapes and forms in the year 2004. Many new faces we have seen in our travels, lots of new interest and more and more participants. We cannot stress enough the safety factor that we as the "ol'timers" must pass on to the newbies. They are the future of what we enjoy doing today. Please remember we were once new ourselves and to protect what we love, we must share our knowledge and teach the "Right" way of doing things for the future to be strong.

We also are pleasantly surprised that two other US Based Airsoft magazines are in the process and are reaching out to everyone on the discussion boards. We at FPS Magazine want to wish them the best in their adventure and much success in the future.

In conclusion, we want to remind these people that the game of airsoft is based foremost on honor and sportsmanship.  That is something that the staff of FPS Magazine and our associates believe in and live our lives by.

Until next time...
